I tried to make a typical uni-students lounge room, filled with the correct amount of detail. When I first started modeling this, I made everything look a bit stylised. The later elements were modeled more realistically.

This was made with 3D Max and Rendered with Vray.

nice scene.

the rug looks incredibly realistic. i don't know how you did that :O.

The rug was a bit of a problem. Shag fur was very close to useless for this scene (maybe I just can't get it to work properly) so I ended up scattering some rectangles. It accounted for a majority of the render time.

this is great, except it is missing about a couple of hundred empty bottles and a few other unmentionables :lol: but no, excellent render.
